Since December 21, 2010, the software producer Mirko Paschke offers the first independent music choice software for the own music collection.
Differently than previous media player software, which is used for playback and for the choice, the Music Picker lets the user choose the music with the help of his feeling and by determine the chance. The difference is a higher acceptance of the by chance selected music, because the user determines the chance in a higher portion and experiences a bigger feeling of control, as if a normal media player jump by chance through a part or the whole music collection by themselve. Therefore the music titles are skipped more seldom by the user and the playback is not interrupted.
In order to play the music the user can use his favorite media player. The Music Picker serves for the choice of the music and for starting the playback. Therefore the user can use the advantages of the Music Picker and of his favorite media player.
By the unique and easy to use graphical user interface of the Music Picker whole albums or single titles can be selected very fast and put together to an own playlist. Therefore the time to select music sinks rapidly. By determining the chance, the potential of the own music collection is also fully used. The chance combined with the unpredictable and individual decision of the person, leads, in this case, to an even higher probability, to hear diverse music, which we can also accept for us self.
